各位親愛的家長及同學：

Dear parents and students,

Compared to the busyness of September and October, November appears to be much calmer. With the semester tests scheduled for mid-November, we provided more preparation time for students in Primary 2 to 6. For Primary 1 students, in order to give them more time to adapt to primary school life, learn new knowledge, and get to know their teachers and classmates, we especially focused on their learning experiences, hoping they could learn in a joyful environment. Therefore, P1 students will not have tests or exams in the first semester; they will attend regular classes as usual.

本校秉持“經歷為本”的教育理念，不僅讓學生聽老師的講解，更鼓勵他們學以致用。在11月1日，我們六年級的學生在中文老師的帶領下，步行至學校附近的屯門碼頭一帶，進行戶外寫作考察。這項活動已經舉辦多年，老師回饋稱，學生在活動後能夠寫出更詳細、更細膩的文章。因此，我們每年都會繼續舉辦這一活動。

Our school upholds the educational philosophy of "Experiential Learning," encouraging students not only to listen to teachers' explanations but also to apply what they learn. On 1st November, our P6 students, led by their Chinese teacher, walked to the nearby Tuen Mun Ferry Pier area to conduct an outdoor writing assessment. This activity has been held for many years, and teachers have reported that students are able to write more detailed and nuanced articles after participating. Therefore, we continue to hold this event every year.

11月2日，我們的初小學生參與了“港鐵小站長計畫”，旨在讓他們瞭解鐵路的運作，並有機會為乘客服務。每次服務結束後，學生們都會興奮地與我分享他們的經歷，並請求再次參加這一活動。

On 2nd November, our lower primary students participated in the "MTR Junior Station Master Program," aimed at helping them understand how the railway operates and giving them the opportunity to serve passengers. After each service session, the students excitedly shared their experiences with me and expressed their desire to participate again.

今年，本校還參加了由香港賽馬會慈善信託基金策劃及捐助的“賽馬會小學理財教育”計畫，該計畫由香港教育大學和美國芝加哥大學共同策劃。鑒於2027-2028年全港小學常識科將分拆為小學人文科和科學科，其中小學人文科的一個範疇是“理財與經濟”。我們希望通過參加這一計畫，提升教師的專業發展，同時讓學生瞭解和掌握理財知識。

This year, our school also participated in the "Jockey Club Primary Financial Education" program, which is planned and funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, in collaboration with The Education University of Hong Kong and the University of Chicago. As the General Studies curriculum for primary schools will be split into Humanities and Science subjects in the 2027-2028 academic year, one of the areas in the Humanities curriculum will focus on "Financial Literacy and Economics." We hope that by participating in this program, we can enhance our teachers' professional development while helping students understand and master financial knowledge.

香港教育大學和美國芝加哥大學的代表到訪學校進行前測和瞭解學校情況。在11月19日（星期二）上午10時，香港教育大學的姚偉梅教授、羅劍輝博士、何暘博士及其團隊，以及美國芝加哥大學的Ms. Rebecca Maxcy、Ms. Denise Porter、Ms. Arinna和德國大學Prof. Tim Kaiser到訪本校。他們首先在會議室聽取了校長的分享，瞭解了學校和學生的情況，以及學校在理財教育方面的準備。隨後，我們一起參觀了學校，並進入課堂瞭解學生的學習情況。參觀結束後，我們還邀請了來自各班的數十位學生與嘉賓進行了近距離的交流。交流結束後，校長向嘉賓作了總結，並送上了一些學校紀念品作為留念。最後，我們合影留念，並邀請嘉賓到地下室參觀。嘉賓對這次安排表示讚賞，並希望日後能再次來訪。

Representatives from The Education University of Hong Kong and the University of Chicago visited our school to conduct a pre-assessment and to understand the school's situation. On Tuesday,19th November at 10:00 a.m. Prof. YU, Dr. LAW, Dr. He, and their team from The Education University of Hong Kong, along with Ms. Rebecca Maxcy, Ms. Denise Porter, and Ms. Arinna from the University of Chicago and Prof. Tim Kaiser from University of Kaiserslautern – Landau, visited our school. They first listened to a presentation by the principal in the conference room to learn about the school and its students, as well as the preparations for financial education.
Afterward, we toured the school and entered classrooms to observe students' learning conditions. At the end of the visit, we invited dozens of students from various classes to engage in close interaction with the guests. After the exchange, the principal summarized the visit and presented some school souvenirs as mementos. Finally, we took a group photo and invited the guests to tour the ground floor. The guests expressed their appreciation for the arrangements and hoped to visit again in the future.

此外，在11月22日，我們為全校9月至11月生日的同學舉辦了生日慶祝活動，讓他們感受到學校的關愛，同時增進同學與老師之間的關係，實現班級經營的實踐。當天，每位生日的同學都收到了校長親筆簽名並附上祝福詞的生日卡。

Additionally, on 22nd November, we held a birthday celebration for all students with birthdays from September to November, allowing them to feel the school's care while enhancing the relationship between students and teachers, thus realizing practical class management. On that day, each birthday student received a birthday card personally signed by the principal, along with a message of good wishes.

From 27th to 30th November, I, along with Miss Fu, led 18 students to participate in the "Taipei Science and Environmental Study Tour." We visited a variety of attractions, and the students greatly benefited from the experience.
